In her plea before the AFT, it was stated that when she received the documents concerning the death of her husband, she came to know he was already suffering from “primary hypertension” aggravated by his service. He, therefore, should not have been deployed in the operational area and made to live in a bunker. Even as per court of inquiry conducted in this matter, the cause of his death was found attributable to military service.
