Court order shattered 6 years of peace in Manipur: Shah

Union home minister Amit Shah assured strife-torn Manipur on Thursday that “no injustice will be done to anyone”, saying he would make a three-day visit to the state next week to talk to the feuding Meitei and Kuki communities and find a way out of the spiral of mistrust and violence triggered by “a verdict of a court”. Shah’s remarks here came a day after a fresh spell of violence in Manipur, including firing by suspected tribal militants, arson and a mob attack.
