Posting of women officers of the Territorial Army (TA) with engineer regiments of the force along the Line of Control with Pakistan has been approved by defence minister Rajnath Singh. The defence ministry on Sunday said women TA officers will now also be posted as staff officers at the force’s group headquarters and Directorate General of Territorial Army at New Delhi, as per organisational requirements.
