Free speech not hate speech: Madras high court on Sanatan plea

The Madras High Court has stated that free speech cannot be considered hate speech and that untouchability is unconstitutional, both within and outside of the Sanatan Dharma. This came as the court heard a petition against a Tamil Nadu college that had sought students' views on the topic of "Opposition to Sanatan."
